Back on the road again

After the torrential downpour, which made it impossible to see out the windshield (remember REAL Hot Rod roadsters don't have windshield wipers), has passed we are back on the road again.

We should be at our featured destination of the day, Honest Charlie's Speed Shop in Chattanooga, by 2:00 PM.

As it turns out we will not be alone; the Hot Rod Magazine "Power Tour" is stopping in Chattanooga today, too.

We've heard that there will be an additional 4000 fellow Hot Rodders in town for the event.

Shop tours, live music, cook-outs and general Tom foolery are all part of the day's activities.

Hmmmm, to me at least, sounds an awful lot like Hot Rod heaven!
