Sweet Home Alabama!

I can honestly say that I LOVE Southern Hospitality.

Case in point: our visit to Johnson's Rod Shop. Words cannot adequately express the warm welcome they offered to four unexpected and unannounced out of towners. They rolled out the red carpet and treated us like VIPs. They gave us a shop tour, helped us replace a worn out PCV valve and a pinched breather hose on one of our vehicles, and offered all kinds of recommendations on the best route to our next destination.

Special thanks to Angie Johnson for taking time to generate a comprehensive list of local restuarants and hotels she thought we might enjoy.

We have other shots inside the shop, but will be speaking with Alan and Angie to obtain their permission before I post them on the blog.

So, we ended the day at the Hampton Inn after having a nice dinner at the local Logan's Steak House.
